How to Take Care of your Necklace

We all love our jewellery, and we know that it is a great way to revamp an outfit; it’s wonderfully wallet-friendly, but can sometimes be very delicate. Gold Plated Jewellery have become part of Fashion as it allows you to enjoy luxury of real gold at an affordable price. However, the plating surface has a certain lifespan and requires proper care and maintenance to prolong its life.

So to prevent these accessories from breaking or losing its look, follow these simple tips, which will keep your Gold Necklaces always looking fabulous, fresh and intact.

Cautious Contact

Never allow your necklace to come in contact with harsh chemicals or oils, nor spray perfumes directly on them. This may cause your necklace to fade, discolour, or even ruin them completely; and we wouldn’t want that!

Tarnish Prevention

To prevent your accessories of tarnishing, use some anti-tarnish tissue paper to wrap your necklace in, which will give them the best protection against blemishing. Also, for a nice polished finish, use a soft cloth or an eyeglasses cleaning cloth, either way- both work wonders.

Storage

Store your Origin Necklace in a Jewellery box or other secure container that will prevent your necklace from moving around. You can also store items in a silk or velvet pouch and put each pouch in a decorative shoe box.

Avoid Water contact

As much as we know you love wearing your Origin Necklace, we would advise that before you do the dishes, hop into the shower, or go to the gym, please remove your necklace, to prevent liquid damage.

Origin Necklaces are not meant to last forever, (although, we wish they could), but why not try to make it last, as long as you can!

We hope these tips guide you on how to care for your necklaces; in order to give your collection the longevity that it deserves.
